Southbend’s remote refrigerated bases are engineered for maximum durability and performance in busy kitchens. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, these bases are available in a range of widths from 32” to 108”, designed to support various modular sectional range tops. The heavy-duty, self-closing drawers slide smoothly on stainless steel rollers, providing convenient and reliable storage. These drawers are built to hold standard 12” x 20” x 4” pans (pans not included), making them ideal for keeping ingredients cold and easily accessible.
Equipped with a CFC-free refrigeration system, the base includes an expansion valve for rapid temperature recovery, ensuring your items stay perfectly chilled. The CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation provides excellent temperature retention, while the rubber magnetic door gaskets offer a secure seal and easy cleaning. The unit is constructed with stainless steel throughout—top, front, sides, back, drawers, and interior cavity—for durability and ease of maintenance.
This refrigerator base features adjustable 6” stainless steel legs and coved interior corners that meet NSF Standard #7 for easy cleaning. It also includes a condensate drain with a 1/2” I.D. tube and an electric condensate evaporator pan. The adjustable digital thermostat ensures precise temperature control, while the mullion coils are coated to resist corrosion and maximize airflow for even cooling.
Operating on 120V single-phase power, this base is built to last with a 2-year warranty on specified operational parts, 5 years on the compressor, and 1 year on labor.
